Group Activities

Share a thrilling white water experience with a group of friends in a raft exclusively for you plus a £50 drinks voucher to enjoy afterwards in The Terrace Bar & Cafe.

White Water Rafting 

Ride the rapids with your friends and family on a raft exclusively for your group. Afterwards, relax on our terrace and raise a glass (or a bottle!) to surviving the Olympic rapids!

Your group experience will last for two hours; this includes a safety brief and kit distribution with up to one hour on the water in a raft exclusively for your group including an activity assessment. Once you’ve been fully kitted out with wetsuits and wetboots, you’ll be introduced to your raft guide who will help you navigate the rapids. First things first, they’ll talk you through the basic skills and safety elements of rafting whilst on the lake then move on to completing our Activity Assessment. You will then be ready to hit the rapids! Paddles up!

  • £50 drinks voucher is included with a full raft hire booking to be used in The Terrace Bar & Café on the day of your activity
  • Our rafts hold up to nine people
  • We may need to reschedule bookings that do not meet our minimum requirement of participants - you will be contacted within seven days of your booking if affected
  • Late arrivals may not be able to take part in the activity and will not be refunded
  • Please ensure you have read our essential information and FAQs before booking

If you are rafting at the weekend, a photographer will be there to capture the moment. If you are rafting on a weekday and would like photos of your adventure, please contact hello@myactionphoto.co.uk to book your photographer

Age and weight restrictions:

  • All participants must be aged 12+ and individually weigh under 18 stone
  • Participants aged under 18 years must have our Parental Consent Form signed by their legal parent/guardian before being able to participate in a moving water based activity at the centre
  • Participants aged between 12 – 16 years must have their legal parent/guardian that remains on site at Lee Valley White Water Centre for the duration of the session, with one parent/guardian to every four children (max)

 

Rodeo Rafting

Perfect for groups of adrenalin seekers and wave chasers! Not for the faint hearted, you'll experience the most daring rapid ride rodeo style, in your very own raft. Get your friends ready for this exhilarating adventure.

This group experience is one step up from White Water Rafting on the adventure scale!
